Place the front and the back pocket pieces together, right side to right side. Overlock stitch around the edge of the pocket.
Place the pocket back to the right side of the skirt back. Neaten the side seam.
Apply stay tape at the pocket opening of the skirt front.
Join the skirt front to the skirt back at the side seams, leaving the pocket opening.
Baste the skirt front and the skirt back together at the pocket opening.
Sew the pocket and the side seam of the skirt back together.
Place the neatened edge of the pocket to the skirt front, extending approx. 0.5 cm. Sew the edge of the pocket and the side seam of the skirt front together.
Press the pocket toward the skirt front.
Turn the pocket to the skirt back. Sew along the pressed fold line.
Stitch around the pocket.
Sew the top of the pocket to the seam allowance of the skirt front. Repeat for the bottom of the pocket.
Unpick the basting stitch.
Reinforce with bar tack.
